Kevin's Giving Fund
Kevin’s Giving Fund honors the life of Kevin Braden by raising and donating funds to important charitable causes. Formally organized as The Kevin G Braden Giving Fund, NFP, an Illinois Not For Profit Corporation, Kevin's Giving Fund is a public charity recognized by the IRS under IRC section 501(c)(3). Kevin's Giving Fund is operated by volunteers so every penny raised goes to charitable causes permitted under section 501(c)(3) or to defraying the expenses of raising those funds.
2025 was a another special event in Kevin's legacy. A great group of family, friends, and newcomers came together for an event marked by laughter, camaraderie and stories of famous and infamous escapades on and off the golf course, all in celebration and friendly competition, honoring Kevin by raising a whopping $43,000 for charity! This year on Saturday, August 22, 2026 we proudly celebrate the tenth anniversary of this joyful event. True to form, we will start Friday evening August 21 with a cocktail party hosted by Russell and Halie Braden at their beautiful Kenilworth home followed by the Saturday luncheon, golf outing, and (new) casino night, which promise to be the best celebration yet!
