Kevin's Giving Fund
Kevin’s Giving Fund honors the life of Kevin Braden by raising and donating funds to important charitable causes. Formally organized as The Kevin G Braden Giving Fund, NFP, an Illinois Not For Profit Corporation, Kevin's Giving Fund is a public charity recognized by the IRS under IRC section 501(c)(3). Kevin's Giving Fund is operated by volunteers so every penny raised goes to charitable causes permitted under section 501(c)(3) or to defraying the expenses of raising those funds.
2024 was a another special event in Kevin's legacy. Many of Kevin's family and longtime friends together came together with many new friends for an event marked by laughter, camaraderie, celebration and friendly competition on the golf course, and honored him by raising a record $50,000! This year's event on Saturday, August 23, 2025 promises to be just as good and will start Friday evening with a cocktail party hosted by Russell and Halie Braden at their beautiful Kenilworth home.
